Perama boats in general

Perama is a type of traditional boat with distinctly formed stern and bow widely used in the Aegean in the 19th and 20th centuries. Perama boats were used for trade thanks to their wide beam. The production of perama boats ceased after WW II.

Faneromeni

Faneromeni is a traditional perama hull built in Skiathos in 1945. Among others, it was mainly used for the transportation of fruit and vegetable between Aegean islands.
